Although, it would have been a fun challenge to take some ceremony shots at this courthouse wedding, my job didn't start until after the papers were signed and we all met up at Mapleton Park for some family and formal photos.

After a tenuously sunny day, the clouds decided to completely take over before we got there, as did the cold wind. I'm just glad that I wasn't the one wearing a dress that day!

One might ask, what's worse than cold and dark for a wedding shoot? Most answers would probably be rain, but apparently that's not the case at all. I actually wish it had rained more than the occasional sprinkles that we ended up getting, as those photos are some of my favourites.

Oh, and the rings! Things are a little more perilous when handling the rings outside on the railing of a bridge. Don't worry, everyone got their bling back, and the happy couple moved on to their reception.
