It's always great to spend the day at Whispering Willow, because you know everything is going to go without a hitch, and everything will be taken care of. Sometimes as the photographer you have to wear a lot of hats, and it somehow falls on me to make sure the wedding day keeps moving*, even so far as to holding things together and actually making them happen in the first place.

Olivia and Remi got married at Fox Harb'r Resort in Nova Scotia, and I had the joy of being their photographer for the day. So take a drive with me out to Fox Harb'r, about two hours from Halifax on the shores of the Northumberland Strait: a golf resort (with two courses and its own landing strip, no less!) that turns out to be quite the place for a wedding. The weather was just perfect that day, a nice change of pace from all the rainy weekends leading up to this one. I was joined by the talented Kelci Wood as my second shooter, and general expert in all things golf and Nova Scotia.

Now that the 2024 wedding season is wrapped and fully delivered, it’s time for a massive wrap-up blog! Photographing weddings in Moncton, Dieppe, Riverview, Saint John, Fredericton, Miramichi, and pretty much everywhere in between. From cathedrals to barns, from country churches to back yards, just about anywhere could be the perfect location if it’s meaningful to you!

Our day begins at the Crowne Plaza in downtown Moncton, NB where the bride and groom’s crews prepped in rooms on separate floors. The party started pretty early with this crew, as everyone was already excited and celebrating from the second I arrived!
