Sarah & Bryan's Wedding

Time for an intimate wedding out in the New Brunswick countryside! Today everyone is gathered at the family homestead, a sprawling field rolling out into beautiful hills and forests and a river as the backdrop for the ceremony. Everything is hand made and home made, much of which by the groom himself.

Nearly everyone is squeezed inside when we begin our day getting ready. I wasn’t really around specifically for that part of the day, but managed to get as much as I could anyway… I hate to miss it ;)

Then we all headed back outside for the ceremony. First, Sarah & Bryan had a quick first look together before they walked down the aisle to tie the knot. The wind whipped at everyone’s hair (except mine?) and the lace about the arch as the vows were said.

After the ceremony we didn’t have far to go for some lovely photos. First the tiny old barn in the field which they both loved the look of, and then we ventured further through the field and woods to find any other magic spots we could.

What a gorgeous day to take photos! The sun was hard and hot, but it still worked out perfectly. Then we headed back to the tent for some shade and cupcakes (always an important way to finish the day).

Congratulations Sarah & Bryan! What a lovely day for a wedding.
