Véronique & Yannick's Wedding

Join us for this windy, windy morning, starting out at Chateau Moncton. I thought I was going to lose my car door and my camera bag while getting out into the parking lot, and I’m pretty sure my assistant Christie very nearly blew away.

Thankfully, inside it was much warmer, and more welcoming. The bride’s crew were busy getting prepped and pampered with hair and makeup and mimosas and matching gifts.

Once everyone was all ready to go, we headed up to the honeymoon suite for a beautiful and touching first look with Véronique’s father.

Meanwhile the men were all suiting up in another room nearby (but not Too close!). Suits both big and small were fitted just so.

And then we off to the Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption for the main event. And I really can’t understate what an epic wedding this was. With a gospel choir, singing and dancing both during and after, all with the full Catholic ceremony. I think I ran through a couple batteries during this one, but it was amazing.

Then everyone headed out to the steps of the cathedral for some very mandatory shots in the grand atmosphere of the place. And once we managed to clear enough family and friends out of the way, we did some epic couple shots as well ;)

Next we headed downtown for some classy urban shots. And then to balance it all back out, we went to Centennial Park for a beautiful fall photoshoot. Miraculously after all the morning wind there were still lots of colourful fall leaves on the trees to add to the ambiance of it all. And still enough wind to blow that veil around just right!

On our way to The Cocoa Room for the reception, the sunset was looking just amazing, so we had to stop at the riverfront for a quick photoshoot to capture the fire in the sky.

At The Cocoa Room the place was all set and ready for the festivities to begin. After the food, some moving speeches, thanks and congratulations, things Really kicked off. The dance floor was packed, and a contagious joy filled the air.

Congratulations, Véronique & Yannick! And thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your amazing day!

P.S. Your wedding album is in the mail 😏
