Kelsey & Zack's Wedding

After Kelsey & Zack’s engagement shoot ending in a Harry Potter duel, I was definitely looking forward to their wedding day and whatever hijinks might then ensue.

It turns out they didn’t need wizard’s robes or wands to have a good time ;)

We’ll start our day just a little differently, and head over Crowne Plaza to see what the groom and his posse are up to.

Then just one floor away, it’s back to the ladies, where Kelsey is trapped in a chiffon case of emotion. Hair up, glasses on, veil in, and ready to go.

What do you do when you can’t fit everyone in a limo, or even the back of uncle Bruce’s pickup truck? Two limos? Matter-energy transportation? Nope, a city bus will do just fine! (and has Much better lighting than a limo, thanks to the generous windows 😉)

Then on to the cathedral, where the sun was gracious enough to stream through the stained-glass windows at just the right time.

We headed downtown afterward for pictures with family, and the wedding party. First at Victoria Park, being October, we didn’t even have to contend with any Shakespearean actors for photo locations. The fountain proved to be lovely, and then we moved on to some fun further downtown, as the sun set between the brick buildings.

Then finally the circle was complete as we returned to Crowne Plaza for the reception. The hall glittered and shined with all the lights and decorations. Everyone laughed until they cried, and then danced until they laughed.

It was an amazing day, and thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of it! Congratulations, Kelsey and Zack!
